Stained Glass Reproductions
Partway through the Third Millenium B.C., humans figured out how to work with glass. Soon, man figured out how to shape and color glass to interpret art. Since then, artists have interpreted great emotion and significant events in stained glass. For much of our history, only royalty and the wealthy could read. Stained glass in churches, synagogues and public places visually conveyed stories of religion and the world events around them. Thus, in addition to its beauty, it became an important tool of communication.
Not until the turn of the 20th Century did stained glass artists perfect layering colors of glass to create a surreal realism. These unique and beautiful panels have achieved the same results through the layering of translucent enamels.
